Match 3 With Meta World Builder Character Content Demo
 

This was for a match 3 game demo with a meta world builder, full 3D "power" and narrative characters and utilizing a 3D gameboard \ 3D meta world environment

I was part of a small prototype team building all character content and state machine interactivity in support of gameplay from the ground up.

I rigged, animated, implemented and built all state machine character sequencing, call systems and gameboard state machines for all character content. I was also responsible for event system setups and introducing material capture shader libraries

Character animations hand keyed Maya side for integration and state machine Unity side as an alternate character set using the same avatar system, skel, rig and material libraries via "round tripping"

Below screen grabs demonstrates character interaction via Timeleine | Cinemachine methods : all character states can interact via animation any state interrupts, parameter call functions and timeline signals \ markers for choreographed narratives and cinematic scene

Below demonstrates 3D character gameboard content implemented and hooked up Unity side: All characters share one rig, call system, animator controller, shader libraries and animation library as well as variant animator sequencers for optimal performance and content cadence

This demonstrates all gameplay functionality relative to the "power card" characters, 

I also introduced an animator sequencer to the gameboard turning it into an AI object listener to react to gameplay bounces, camera inputs, intros \outros, etc:
